Director of Equity and Community Supports

At the University of King's College, we are committed to creating a diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment for all members of our community. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Equity and Community Supports to join our team.
About the Role:The Director of Equity and Community Supports will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategies to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion across the university. This will include working with faculty, staff, and students to create a welcoming and inclusive environment, and providing support and resources to individuals and groups who may be experiencing barriers or challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion across the university
- Provide support and resources to individuals and groups who may be experiencing barriers or challenges
- Work with faculty, staff, and students to create a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion
- Provide training and education to faculty, staff, and students on equity, diversity, and inclusion
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. education, social work, psychology)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role in equity, diversity, and inclusion
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals
