About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Lazeez Shawarma. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective operational procedures to ensure the smooth running of our kitchen, including methods for meeting work schedules, requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, and supervising staff.

Staff Supervision and Training

Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, providing guidance and training on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.

Inventory Management and Budgeting

Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure the efficient operation of our kitchen.

Customer Service and Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards, address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and prepare food order summaries for our chef.

Reporting and Record-Keeping

Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, including food order summaries, inventory levels, and staff performance, to ensure that our management team is informed and able to make data-driven decisions.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.

Experience

1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.

Language

English.

Work Hours

35 hours per week.
