Job Description:

Charter Telecom Inc. is seeking a seasoned Senior Account Manager to spearhead business development and drive sales growth in the Canadian market.

Your Role:

In this key position, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing accounts, identifying opportunities for growth, and developing tailored solutions that meet our clients' unique needs. You will work closely with our certified business practices team to leverage their expertise and stay ahead of the competition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and develop Charter as a full-service IT network systems integrator into new enterprise and service provider accounts across Canada
  • Develop and maintain multiple levels of account relationships with medium and large accounts
  • Identify and acquire new accounts to expand our customer base
  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge of our broad array of products and services
  • Develop new business models both within and outside of our existing client base
  • Closed sales opportunities to meet/exceed required sales targets in both product and services categories
  • Demonstrate cross-company teamwork in all activities
  • Collaborate with external business partners to develop best-in-class offerings to address customer challenges and needs
  • Map Charter offerings against client requirements to deliver desired business outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market changes
  • Engage and deliver compelling customer presentations

Requirements:

  • At least 5-8 years of experience in IT Networking sales, detailed account management, and business consulting sales skills
  • A proven track record of success in driving sales growth and meeting/exceeding sales targets
  • Enterprise-focused account management acumen and comfort dealing with larger sales partners
  • Ability to bring in a book of business with relevant clientele
  • Proficiency in complex networking solutions and Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A university degree in business or related field (an asset)
