Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Guard to join our team at GardaWorld in Fort McMurray. As an Industrial Oil and Gas Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage access control systems and monitor surveillance cameras to prevent unauthorized access to the site.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the site, including perimeter checks and searches of camps, lay-down areas, and storage facilities.
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service and register visitors as needed.
  • Collaborate with other security personnel to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Requirements
  • Experience in industrial oil and gas settings, with a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures.
  • Valid Alberta Security License and Class 5 Driver's license.
  • Clean Driver's abstract for the past 5 years.
  • Standard First aid Level 'C' certification.
  • BSO/CSTS/ OSSA/ CSO safety tickets.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • N95 fit test and clean-shaven requirement.
  • D & A Testing / Standard basic panel 5 - test within 30 days.
  • Good knowledge of computer and surveillance systems.
  • Gardaworld Orientation/ Site specific Orientation.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.
