GardaWorld is seeking a highly skilled Security Guard to join our team in Fort McMurray, Alberta. As a Security Guard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage access and access cards through the computer system.
  • Conduct camera surveillance for access/egress points of people, material, and equipment.
  • Greet customers and register visitors as needed.
  • Act as a first responder in the event of a crisis or emergency.
  • Perform perimeter patrols and searches of camps, lay-down areas, storage facilities, and personal belongings.

Requirements:

  • Experience in an industrial oil and gas setting.
  • Class 5 Driver's license.
  • Clean Driver's abstract for 5 years.
  • Valid Alberta Security License.
  • Standard First aid Level 'C'.
  • BSO/CSTS/OSSA/CSO safety tickets.
  • Good communication skills.
  • N95 fit test (candidates must be clean-shaven).
  • D&A Testing/Standard basic panel 5 – test within 30 days.
  • Good knowledge of computer and surveillance systems.
  • Gardaworld Orientation/Site-specific Orientation.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.
