About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at K Motel Steakhouse & Family Restaurant. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including statistical and financial data.
  • Accounting Systems Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of our accounting systems, including manual and computerized systems.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Accurate, excellent written communication, organized, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
