Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Travelodge Swift Current. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Payroll Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports to support business decision-making.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
