The Opportunity: WSP Canada is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the Mechanical Group. This role will involve working on various projects, providing calculation, design, and technical specification services for mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare AutoCAD drawings and Revit 3D models for mechanical systems.
  2. Understand and apply building mechanical engineering requirements, Ontario Building Code (OBC), ASHRAE, ASPE, NFPA, and CSA standards for building and site design.
  3. Work independently or as a team member to deliver designs and meet deadlines.
  4. Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure successful project delivery.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:

  1. University graduate with a minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  2. Registered P.Eng. with PEO.
  3. 4 to 6 years of experience in designing mechanical systems for buildings, transportation, healthcare, commercial, and light industrial projects.
  4. Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit 3D. MicroStation is a plus.
  5. Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
