Job Summary

2360062 ALBERTA LTD. is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver - Short Haul to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload goods, ensuring safety and security of cargo.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, operate GPS and other navigation equipment.
  • Documentation: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption, maintain driver logbook and inspection reports.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement, Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, repetitive tasks, sitting.
  • Work Environment: Various locations, overtime required.
