About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our commercial property management team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of office and industrial properties, providing strategic and operational leadership, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for all day-to-day management services, including property management and building services.
  • Improve property performance and operations through analysis of input from property teams and review of existing practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure national program objectives are met and that deadlines are met with respect to reporting on target setting, performance management, cyber security, or other programs.
  • Supervise and train direct reports and conduct annual Performance Reviews.
  • Assist the Senior Director, Property Management in preparation and review of strategic business plans for properties and recommend operational improvements.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure market positioning and strategic direction meet portfolio, client, and company goals.
Requirements
  • Certified Property Management (CPM) and/or Real Property Administrator (RPA) supplemented with leadership workshops and relevant industry courses.
  • Minimum 10 years in the real estate industry, including hands-on property management, team leadership, client management, and multiple property responsibilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial reporting, budget planning, and forecasting.
