Production Supervisor Job Description

At Sunrise Farms, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, ensuring the highest quality products and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise production staff and ensure they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement, implementing changes as needed to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve overall production performance.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to production staff to improve performance and address any concerns.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proven track record of improving production efficiency and quality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business results.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.
