About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dry Cleaning Attendant to join our team at Nimpo Lake Resort Ltd. as a Laundry Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of dry cleaning and laundry services for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals to clean and finish garments.
  • Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles to ensure they are properly prepared for storage.
  • Hand iron laundered fine linens or dry-cleaned silk garments to achieve a crisp and smooth finish.
  • Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers and use hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, and other dry cleaned and laundered articles.
  • Assemble and bag finished articles to ensure they are ready for distribution.
  • Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that they meet our establishment standards.
  • Match invoices or tags with dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure accuracy.
  • Record damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles to maintain quality control.
  • Use hand-held steam irons to touch up finished garments and other articles.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced hotel laundry environment, standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks. We offer a supportive work environment and opportunities for professional growth and development.
