Job Summary

The Transportation Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, establishing and implementing policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods, overseeing the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, and overseeing the setting of transportation service rates and monitoring revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective transportation strategies to optimize delivery times and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless transportation operations.
  • Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with transportation vendors and partners.
  • Manage and control transportation budgets to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in transportation management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
