Job Title: Logistics Operations Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at CARGO GROUP ATLANTIC LOGISTICS INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of the organization, developing specific plans to prioritize tasks, and ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Oversee operational logistics of the organization, including transportation, freight forwarding, and private sector operations.
  • Organize tasks to accomplish the work and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to achieve organizational goals.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on operational performance and progress.
  • Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff as required.
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure high-quality results and meet organizational standards.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support operational activities.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in logistics operations or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
