Join Our Team as a Bilingual Pension Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pension administrator to join our team at TELUS Health's Retirement Consulting practice. As a global leader in health and well-being, we leverage technology and data to improve financial outcomes for individuals while managing costs and risks for organizations.

About the Role:

  • Administer Defined Benefits (DB) pension plans with precision and accuracy.
  • Produce high-quality annual pension statements and legislative updates that meet client needs.
  • Analyze complex calculations such as marriage breakdowns and pension loss calculations.
  • Liaise with actuaries to ensure accurate membership data for valuations.
  • Support clients with pension administration issues and ensure compliance with quality control and service standards.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of DB Pension Administration experience.
  • Knowledge of provincial pension and tax legislation.
  • Strong communication, project management, and presentation skills.
  • Leadership and team building skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Access.
  • ASA designation and/or DB pension actuarial background.
  • Bilingualism in English and French.
  • Experience with pension administration software Ariel.

Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous retirement savings plan.
