We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Communications Advisor to join our team at Nova Scotia Power.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with our Senior Communications Advisor to implement internal communications strategies and projects. You will be responsible for managing and enhancing our presence on various social media and digital platforms, as well as creating engaging content for our website and social media channels.

As a key member of our communications team, you will play a vital role in shaping the company's public image and reputation. Your strong writing and editing skills, combined with your ability to think creatively and work independently, make you an ideal candidate for this position.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or equivalent experience;
  • At least 3 years of experience in communications, preferably in a corporate setting;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other digital tools;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a defined contribution pension plan.
