Poultry Farm Foreman/Woman Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Poultry Farm Foreman/Woman to join our team at 1431238 B.C. Ltds. As a key member of our agricultural operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our poultry farm, ensuring the health and well-being of our animals, and maintaining the highest standards of bio-security and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
  • Monitor animal health and implement measures to prevent disease
  • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
  • Maintain quality control and production records
  • Perform general farm duties, including clearing and collecting brush and debris
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in poultry farming or a related field (an asset)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
