Poultry Farm Worker Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Poultry Farm Worker to join our team at 1431238 B.C. Ltds. As a Poultry Farm Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of our poultry flock, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our farm facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas
  • Disinfect pens, barns, or poultry houses
  • Handle animals with care and attention to detail
  • Monitor animal health and take necessary action to prevent disease
  • Feed and tend to animals, ensuring their nutritional needs are met
  • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed at all times
  • Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens to maintain a clean and healthy environment
  • Perform general farm duties as required
  • Examine product for quality and readiness for market
  • Set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops
Work Environment:

Our farm is located in a rural area, and as a Poultry Farm Worker, you will be working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the farm.
