Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Ideal Glass Hardware Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure that welds meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet quality standards.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding conditions. The ideal candidate will have excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to stand for extended periods.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in welding or a related field.
  • Equivalent experience may be considered.
