Job Title: Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Ideal Glass Hardware Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal parts and products using manual or semi-automatic equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding processes and be able to interpret specifications and ensure high-quality welds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure compliance
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and specifications
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate previously set-up welding machines
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in welding and fabrication
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment
