Job Title: Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Ideal Glass Hardware Inc. as a key member of our fabrication department.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal parts and products to meet the company's quality standards. This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Fabricate or repair metal parts and products using welding machines.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Physical demands include handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and attention to detail.
  • Weight handling: up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
