Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Join Jessy's Pizza as a Food Service Supervisor and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
  • Supervise Staff: Lead and train a team of food service staff, including servers, counter attendants, and kitchen helpers, to ensure excellent customer service and quality food preparation.
  • Train Staff: Provide ongoing training and coaching to staff on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate ingredient and supply needs to ensure efficient food preparation and minimize waste.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our high quality standards, addressing any customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on key performance indicators.
Work Environment:

As a Food Service Supervisor at Jessy's Pizza, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills. You will be on your feet for extended periods, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
