The estimated salary range for this position is CAD $41.42 - $55.91 per hour, depending on experience. **Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team in the Community IV Program. This temporary part-time position will involve working with patients who require IV antibiotic treatment as part of their care. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, identifying, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care required to assist patients in meeting their physical, social, spiritual, and psychological needs.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Review patient status through various methods, including chart reviews, observations, interviews, and consultation with peers and other healthcare team members.
  • Assess patient problems and needs, develop and implement a plan of care, and prioritize nursing interventions.
  • Provide direct nursing care according to identified policies and procedures, technology, and PHC standards.
  • Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, reassess if goals are not met, and modify the plan of care as needed.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Current practicing registration as a British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Two years recent related experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) procedures.
