Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report any changes in resident health status to the unit nurse or supervisor.
  • Participate in infection control and preventative maintenance programs, ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents.
  • Transport residents to and from activities, appointments, and other destinations as needed.
  • Document care delivery on resident records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.
Requirements
  • Recognized Health Care Aide Certificate or completed two years of accepted registered nursing education program.
  • One year of previous experience as a Health Care Aide, preferably in a personal care home setting.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and maintain confidentiality of resident information.
  • Physical and mental health to meet the demands of the position.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
