Job Opportunity in Emergency and Trauma Radiology

The Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto is seeking two full-time radiologists to join the Emergency and Trauma Radiology Division. The successful candidates will provide interpretation of acute care imaging, including overnight on-call coverage, and contribute to the teaching faculty of our Undergraduate Medical Education, Continuing Medical Education, Residency, and Fellowship Programs as a Clinician-Teacher.

About the Role

The Emergency and Trauma Radiology Division is an integral part of the patient services at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, a fully affiliated hospital of the University of Toronto. The division encounters a broad spectrum of acute conditions, including acute trauma, neurologic emergencies, cardiovascular emergencies, thoracic, and abdominal emergencies, as well as acute complications in oncology patients.

Requirements
  • MD or equivalent degree
  • Fellowship in Diagnostic Imaging from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, American Board of Radiology, or international equivalent
  • Eligibility for medical licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
  • Year of dedicated fellowship training in Emergency and Trauma Radiology post-residency graduation
  • Eligibility for an academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto
What We Offer

Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. Compensation is based on a fee-for-service model, with an estimated income range of $300,000 - $500,000 per annum for a full-time equivalent. The positions will remain open until filled.
