About the Department:
The Department of Medical Imaging is affiliated with a leading healthcare institution, renowned for its comprehensive trauma program and a bustling Emergency Department. The Emergency and Trauma Radiology Division plays a crucial role in supporting patient care for both emergency cases and those admitted to specialized programs.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidates will:
- Provide expert interpretation of acute care imaging, including participation in overnight on-call coverage.
- Engage in subspecialty emergency and trauma imaging across various clinical scenarios.
- Contribute to the educational mission of the department, serving as a Clinician-Teacher for medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Collaborate with a team of subspecialty radiologists to deliver comprehensive imaging services.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess:
- An MD or equivalent degree.
- A Fellowship in Diagnostic Imaging from a recognized institution.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Ontario.
- A minimum of one year of dedicated fellowship training in Emergency and Trauma Radiology.
- Eligibility for an academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor.
Compensation:
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, based on a fee-for-service model. The estimated income range reflects the competitive nature of the position.
