Job Description
Voyageur Aviation Corp. is a leading provider of specialized aviation services, including advanced engineering and maintenance capabilities. We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Conversion Manager to lead the modification of 8 aircraft into aerial firefighting aircraft within a 4-year timeframe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Manage detailed schedules and timelines, incorporating all phases of the project.
- Identify and allocate necessary resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor resource usage and adjust allocations as needed.
- Develop and manage project budgets, tracking all financial aspects.
- Facilitate regular communication and meetings with stakeholders.
- Implement quality control processes to ensure all project deliverables meet required standards.
- Oversee the technical aspects of the aircraft modification process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or project management is preferred.
- Registered Professional Engineer or Aircraft Maintenance Licence is mandatory.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience supporting aircraft modification projects.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
