About the Role

We are seeking a Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Kwikmart. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning duties, and ensuring seamless store operations.

Job Description
  • Supervise a team of 3-4 staff members in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Assign sales workers to duties, oversee inventory management, and resolve customer complaints.
  • Hire, train, or arrange for training of staff, and authorize payments by cheque.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
Requirements
  • Degree of Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate required.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment preferred.
Working Conditions
  • Fast-paced work environment with attention to detail and ability to multitask required.
  • Walking and standing for extended periods necessary.
Personal Qualities
  • Candidates must possess excellent oral communication skills and be able to work under pressure.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Compensation and Benefits
  • $50,000 - $60,000 per annum based on experience.
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Permanent position with opportunity for career growth.
