Duties/Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician at Colt Canada, you will be responsible for maintaining all facility equipment, including lighting, furniture, plumbing, and machinery. You will also be responsible for completing building maintenance, machine repair and installation, and maintaining and repairing small tools. Additionally, you will perform regular routine maintenance on all machinery, including oil/coolant changes, machine cleaning, and filter changes. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory of supplies, including oils, coolants, parts, and janitorial supplies. You will be required to assist other departments when requested and be capable of working with various machines and equipment, including basic hand and power tools, tool room equipment, and basic test equipment. You will also be required to work in a welding environment.

Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for obtaining Enhanced Security Clearance from the Government of Canada, maintaining secure and confidential company information, adhering to Colt Canada Corporation's policies and procedures, and ensuring all health and safety requirements for equipment and maintenance are adhered to. You will also be required to maintain relationships with all departments, external vendors, and contractors.

Working Environment, Health & Safety Issues, Conditions, Physical Demands:

You will work in a manufacturing facility with noise, and will be required to lift up to 25lbs. You will also be required to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Internal Training Needs:

You will require training in Colt Canada policies and procedures, WHMIS, and other relevant safety protocols.
