We are seeking an experienced Global Sourcing Director to join our team at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. This is a critical role that will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive sourcing strategies to support our CRJ Program.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and optimizing sourcing, procurement, and vendor management strategies to deliver efficient sourcing programs for the CRJ Program. Key responsibilities include negotiating and executing long-term sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing and procurement strategies, aligning with business objectives and market conditions.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms, monitor supplier performance, and organize business reviews with key suppliers.
  • Analyze market trends and conditions for cost-saving opportunities, reduce procurement costs, and improve financial performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align sourcing strategies, lead cross-functional teams, and communicate sourcing strategies and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Utilize data analytics to inform sourcing decisions, develop and maintain metrics, and present findings to senior management.
Requirements:
  • A minimum university degree in Business, Engineering, Law, or a related field, preferably with an MBA, Law, or Engineering secondary degree or designation.
  • 7-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, and 5-7 years' experience in Procurement or a similar role at the managerial level in Aerospace or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in sourcing and procurement software, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $120,000 and $180,000, depending on experience.
