About the Opportunity

In this role as IT Sourcing Director, you will lead the development and implementation of strategic sourcing plans to drive cost savings and process improvements. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Leveraging industry expertise and market knowledge to negotiate complex contracts with key suppliers.
  • Maintaining relationships with external vendors and ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Providing coaching and support to junior team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Key Deliverables

  • Develop and implement category plans that deliver significant cost savings and process improvements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in IT sourcing, including successful contract negotiation and management.
  • Strong industry knowledge and market expertise, with a proven track record of delivering cost savings and process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems, with a strong analytical mindset.
