Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automation Systems Engineer to join our Electrical, Instrumentation Controls (EI&C) Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with cross-functional engineers to execute custom project designs, meet customer expectations, and ensure project risks are mitigated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop control logic for plant operation, ensuring operator and equipment safety.
  • Collaborate in project team discussions and client meetings to ensure project success.
  • Read and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, GAs, process design guidelines, electrical schematics, and instrument lists.
  • Interpret and follow contract and customer specifications.
  • Manage project budget, scope, and schedule, and proactively report risks and opportunities to project teams.
  • Support production and testing of Water Treatment systems in Veolia manufacturing facilities as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical, or process engineering (or equivalent).
  • At least four years of experience with control systems, including Rockwell Schneider and/or Siemens PLC, HMI, DCS, and/or SCADA design and programming.
  • Automation testing experience, including I/O modules, PID controllers, VFDs configuration, and network communications.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to provide reports and support internal and external customers.
  • Valid passport and driver's license.
  • Availability to travel up to 30% per year for customer meetings, training, and equipment startup support.
