About the Role:
As a Store Manager at Preet Ravi Petroleum LTD, you will be responsible for the overall management of a retail store, leading a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets. Key responsibilities include:
- Direct and control daily store operations, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for staff and customers alike.
- Evaluate daily operations and make data-driven decisions to drive business growth.
- Plan and organize daily store activities, including visual merchandising and inventory management.
- Manage staff, assign duties, and provide coaching and development opportunities to ensure staff are equipped to excel in their roles.
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold, implementing price and credit policies to maximize sales and profitability.
- Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring product offerings meet customer needs and preferences.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive foot traffic and sales, and determine staffing requirements to support business needs.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages, and recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers as needed.
- Oversee payroll administration and conduct performance reviews to ensure staff are meeting performance expectations.
Requirements:
This role requires:
- 1-2 years of retail management experience, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff to achieve business goals.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business growth.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer experiences and build strong relationships with customers and staff alike.
