About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team at C&G PAINTING & DECORATING. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing high-quality tiles in a variety of settings, including commercial, industrial, and residential environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring, marking, and cleaning
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and other materials as required
  • Set tiles in place, ensuring accurate alignment and straightness
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power tools
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
  • Supervise and instruct apprentices as needed
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative designs
  • Estimate costs and materials for tile installation projects
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in tile installation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver's license and basic security clearance
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions
