Job Summary

Xpertbizz is seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP applications that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Application Development: Participate in the development and support of SAP modules, including Transportation Management, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  2. Technical Design: Provide detailed technical design and development of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms, including ABAP, ABAP OO, FPM, BOPF, Webdynpro, Workflow, SQL, FIORI, NWGW, and HANA Modeling.
  3. Code Development: Develop code in ABAP, ABAP OO, FPM, BOPF, Webdynpro, Workflow, SQL, FIORI, NWGW, and HANA Modeling to meet project requirements and user expectations.
  4. System Analysis: Conduct analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  5. System Maintenance: Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging, and installing for a large-scale system, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  6. Documentation: Maintain records for the documentation of systems development and revisions, including technical documentation, code review, and test processes.
  7. Collaboration: Participate in the development and maintenance of custom-built functionality and interfaces for SAP Applications, working closely with developers in this area.
  8. Incident Resolution: Lead troubleshooting of incidents or defects that arise in SAP applications, ensuring timely resolution and keeping stakeholders updated on progress.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years SAP implementation experience, ideally 2 full project lifecycles with TM, EM, or SD, with a focus on logistics.
  2. Technical Knowledge: Knowledgeable in new technical areas like BOPF, FPM, Fiori/SAPUI5, ABAP OO, BRF+, Webdynpro, and Adobe Forms.
  3. Methodologies: Strong familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies, including ASAP, and Agile.
  4. Certifications: SAP Training in Custom Development and a SAP Certification is considered an asset.
  5. Analysis and Design: Experience in requirements analysis and design of technical solutions ranging in scope and size.
  6. Communication: Ability to communicate complex technical information and impacts in business and functional terms.
  7. Development Management: Competent at creating development effort and cost estimates using inputs from Functional team and then managing the RICEFW Development Standards for SAP Custom Code to be used in design and development.
  8. Mentorship: Ability to mentor new developers and bring the team together to share their knowledge and experience.
