Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bridge Inspection Specialist to join our team at Bridge Check Canada LTD. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and safety of bridges and other infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine plans, drawings, and site layouts to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Inspect construction sites to ensure that work is being carried out in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of bridges and other infrastructure to identify defects, damage, or other issues that may impact safety or functionality.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address any issues identified during inspections, including recommending repairs or modifications as needed.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all parties are aware of inspection results and any necessary actions.
Requirements
  • College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as engineering or construction management.
  • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, such as bridge inspection or construction quality assurance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work on-site at various locations, including construction sites and Bridge Check Canada LTD offices.
