About the Role

Bridge Check Canada LTD is seeking a highly skilled Bridge Inspector to join our team. As a Bridge Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and safety of bridges across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine Plans and Drawings: Review and analyze bridge plans, drawings, and site layouts to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Inspect Bridge Construction: Conduct regular inspections of bridge construction sites to ensure that work is being done in accordance with plans and specifications.
  • Ensure Compliance: Verify that all bridge construction and maintenance work meets government regulations and industry standards.
  • Inspect Electrical and Plumbing Installations: Ensure that electrical and plumbing installations on bridges meet government regulations and industry standards.
  • Inspect Sewer Systems and Pipelines: Conduct regular inspections of sewer systems and pipelines to ensure they are functioning properly and safely.
  • Ensure Safe Working Conditions: Inspect bridge construction sites to ensure that safe working conditions are maintained for workers.
  • Inspect Existing Bridges: Conduct regular inspections of existing bridges to identify any structural defects or fire hazards.
  • Provide Reports: Prepare and submit detailed reports on the condition of bridges and any necessary repairs or maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in a relevant field such as engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
