About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Inspection Specialist to join our team at Bridge Check Canada LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and quality of our bridges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan Review and Inspection: Examine plans, drawings, and site layouts to ensure compliance with specifications and building codes.
  • Construction Monitoring: Inspect the construction of building and engineering projects to ensure adherence to plans and regulations.
  • Compliance and Quality Control: Verify that electrical and plumbing installations meet government regulations and ensure that construction meets quality standards.
  • Sewer System and Pipeline Inspection: Inspect the construction of sewer systems and pipelines to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
  • Worksite Safety: Ensure that safe working conditions are maintained on construction sites.
  • Structural Defect and Hazard Identification: Inspect existing buildings for structural defects and fire hazards.
  • Property Condition Assessment: Inspect and provide reports on the condition of new or resale homes.

  • Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.

Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
