Clinical Pharmacist

Are you a skilled pharmacist looking for a new challenge in a dynamic environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a clinical pharmacist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a clinical pharmacist, you will play a key role in providing pharmacy services to patients in Northern Health. You will work collaboratively with an interprofessional team to assess and recommend individualized treatments, act as a primary resource for drug information, education, and provide expert advice to healthcare professionals. You will also monitor drug prescribing, distribution, and therapy to ensure safe, effective, rational, legal, and economic use of drugs.
Responsibilities
• Assess and recommend individualized treatments for patients
• Provide expert advice to healthcare professionals on drug information and education
• Monitor drug prescribing, distribution, and therapy to ensure safe and effective use of drugs
• Collaborate with an interprofessional team to provide pharmacy services to patients
Requirements
• Baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy and current licensure with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
• Completion of a Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program or a combination of at least one year of hospital experience and advanced education courses
• Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is encouraged
