Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing pharmacy services to patients in Northern Health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and recommend individualized treatments for patients
  • Act as the primary resource for drug information, education, and expert advice to healthcare professionals
  • Monitor drug prescribing, distribution, and therapy to ensure safe, effective, and rational use of drugs
  • Maintain workload records and statistics
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy and current licensure with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
  • Completion of a Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program or a combination of at least one year of hospital experience and advanced education courses
  • Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is encouraged
