About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Reliability Engineer to join our growing team at Lightspeed. As a key member of our Cloud Efficiency team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating our cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions to support critical production environments
  • Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure real-time visibility into cloud infrastructure performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize cloud infrastructure improvements
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) templates to ensure consistency and repeatability
  • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure issues
  • Develop and maintain documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a focus on cloud reliability and scalability
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
