Job Title: Administration Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administration Officer to join our team at Nu Star Transport Inc.

Job Summary

The Administration Officer will be responsible for providing administrative support to our transportation company, ensuring the smooth operation of our office and ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure they are implemented correctly and efficiently.
  • Delegate work to office support staff and establish work priorities to ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including administering policies and procedures related to the release of records.
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
Work Environment

The Administration Officer will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload. The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
