Salt Truck Operator

We are seeking a skilled Salt Truck Operator to join our team at Snowman. As a key member of our winter road maintenance team, you will be responsible for operating various vehicles and equipment to ensure safe and efficient snow removal and de-icing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operate salt trucks, sanding trucks, and snow transportation trucks to apply de-icing materials and remove snow from roads and highways.
- Check, lubricate, refuel, and clean equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor in a timely manner.
- Work in a cold, noisy, and wet environment, with varying temperatures and weather conditions.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, such as snow removal or equipment operation.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
