Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Urban Snow Removal Equipment Operator to join our team at Snowman. As a key member of our winter maintenance team, you will be responsible for operating various vehicles and equipment to ensure safe and efficient snow removal operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check, lubricate, refuel and clean equipment
  • Operate salt trucks, sanding trucks, snow transportation trucks, snowblowers, and snowploughs
  • Report any malfunctions to the supervisor
  • Spread sand or salt on sidewalks for snow or ice control
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in cold, noisy, and wet environments
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work overtime
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in snow removal or a related field
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
