About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer - Quality Assurance to join our Global QA team at Warner Bros. Discovery. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping us deliver high-quality software products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement test cases for complex feature enhancements to validate user stories
- Execute and build automated tests using existing frameworks, contributing new code to build on top of what other engineers have written
- Analyze test results and identify areas for increased automated coverage
- Collaborate with the Quality engineering and framework team to consume the QA-aaS pipeline and drive improvements to QA automation activities
- Provide documentation of new features and requirements from a testing perspective
- Take ownership of regression testing and release testing coordination
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development and quality assurance
- Knowledge of various test activities across release pipelines, including unit testing, regression testing, UI/API testing, etc.
- Experience driving test design and implementation
- Ability to write high-quality and stable automated test cases using existing frameworks
- Coding language - Java/JavaScript
- UI Automation - Selenium/UFT/Tosca
- Mobile Automation - Appium or any other tool for Android/iOS
- Test case management - Jira/TestRail
Preferred Qualifications
- Good understanding of testing across different device types and operating systems
- Understanding of multiple test types, including unit, functional, integration, end-to-end, security, performance, load, and UI tests
