About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Notary to join our team at Patakfalvi Notaire inc. As a Notary, you will be responsible for drafting, revising, and executing various notarial deeds, performing trust accounting tasks, and informing clients of their rights and any legal issues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Draft, revise, and execute various notarial deeds.
  • Perform trust accounting tasks.
  • Inform clients of their rights and any legal issues.
  • Organize entire real estate files from start to finish, including communication with clients and various organizations involved.
  • Make necessary requests to prepare files, draw up notarial deeds, publish deeds in the land register, read deeds, and receive signatures.
  • Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
  • Manage a team in support of these tasks.

Requirements:

  • Member of the Chambres des notaires du Québec (required).
  • Own and operate an intrust account.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in notarial law.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in real estate law.
  • Bilingual, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Rigor, attention to detail, and dedication to work.
  • Ability to manage a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Self-reliance and resourcefulness.
  • Knowledge of Paramaître and Microsoft Office environment (an asset).
  • Experience in business law (an asset).
