Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team responsible for financial consolidation, including preparation of financial statements, management reports, and legal entity reporting.
  • Partner with tax, treasury, operations, and investor relations teams to lead the quarterly reporting process for financial statements and MD&A.
  • Identify areas for process improvements and implement solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Act as liaison for the annual audit process with external auditors.
  • Support business decisions with ad-hoc analysis as required.

Requirements:

  • CPA designation
  • 7+ years of progressive finance experience
  • Experience with public company reporting and consolidation
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS
  • Proven ability to coach and lead a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to coach and mentor
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS office
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work and drive improvements within a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
