Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team at INTER-NET SPECIALTY PRODUCTS, INC. in a permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding Operations
    • Interpret welding process specifications to ensure accurate and efficient welding operations.
    • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including arc welding machines and gas welding machines.
    • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Equipment Maintenance
    • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
    • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or damage.
  • Quality Control
    • Conduct quality control checks on welds to ensure they meet company standards.
    • Document and report any quality control issues or concerns.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with production team members to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
    • Communicate effectively with team members to resolve any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding operations.
  • Skills
    • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.

    • Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and heavy machinery.
  • Physical Demands
    • Stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
