About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Hamilton Steel Logistics. As a Welder, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution
    • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure compliance with company standards.
    • Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Quality Control
    • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Maintenance and Operations
    • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
    • Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines.
    • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding or a related field.
