Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to homeowners
  • Liaise with site superintendents to ensure smooth transitions between construction and warranty phases
  • Manage the on-site warranty team, monitoring attendance, punctuality, and productivity
  • Interview and train new site staff, ensuring they are equipped to meet the needs of our customers
  • Conduct assessments, provide clear communication, and monitor follow-up actions
  • Stay up-to-date with all responsibilities and processes of site positions
  • Ensure timely submission of weekly orders for site materials and accurate receipt of orders
  • Assess maintenance of model homes as requested and report any staffing concerns or escalated files to management
  • Work closely with trade partners, site staff, and homeowners to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Manage electronic files and tracking systems to provide productivity reports as needed
  • Identify and report recurring issues or deficiencies to implement positive changes to the drafting and/or building process
  • Use critical thinking to resolve employee and customer issues
  • Consider CPGs and customer service when determining warrantability of items
  • Review and approve non-warrantable repair costing within set limits
  • Ensure compliance with Tarion Construction Performance Guidelines and repair times to avoid conciliations
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of new home construction terminology
  • Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code is an asset
  • Previous experience in new home warranty and understanding of Tarion CPGs is required
  • Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer knowledge, including email, spreadsheets, and Google platform
  • Highly organized with experience in tracking and reporting
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to support the team through positive leadership
  • Self-directed with ability to work independently and with little supervision
  • Punctual, reliable, and excellent work ethic
  • Must have own vehicle
